GRAPEFRUIT BEER

Belgian style Ale with Grapefruit flavor
Screaming fresh citrus, Burgkopf Grapefruit is loaded with freshly squeezed pith and pulp fruit flavors. A light, crisp malt backbone helps balance the bold, sweet, and vibrant grapefruit flavors.
Reminiscent of hazy freshly squeezed Pamplemousse, both pith and pulp resonate from the can and into the glass. Combined with a melange of tropical wafts, the distinct crip malt character blends into a memory of marmalade on fresh toast — the sweetness of the perfect grapefruit, vibrant and bright.
An ideal accompaniment to a long day, be it morning or night. Burgkopf Beer. Awaken to grapefruit.

Burgkopf Grapefruit has a thin-to-nothing head and a translucent, yellow-orange appearance, with no lacing. The aroma if of musty grain and subtle fruit. The flavor is similar, with tartness, some sweetness, and no bitterness. It has a medium body and a mostly-dry finish.
Poured out a clear, golden orange color with with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of tart grapefruit with some sweet caramel notes. Very bitter grapefruit taste with a very tart bite. Crisp and sharp.

I love this beer! I am not normally a fruity beer type, but this is an exceptional, maybe looks a little cloudy, but has an excellent taste and aroma.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a cloudy apricot color with a huge foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was strong pink grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was strong pink grapefruit, lemon, sweet grapefruit soda and pineapple. Very long finish. Medium body. Delightful.
Pours hazy golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of strong and sweet grapefruit. Taste has really intense and fresh grapefruit elements. Palate continues these with subtle elements of a Belgian Ale Making up the backbone. Shockingly fresh tasting. Fantastic.

500 ml. can poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, grapefruit and light orange zest. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and light yeast with a smooth dry lingering grapefruit finish.
